The final episode of our mini playtest with Alex and Ryan.
This week we telegraph hard that our desire to explore one of the death moves, and we do deliver.
Our pilots run their newly improved mechs through their paces. The ground crews engage in some bonding. And then everything burns.

It’s time for the second session of our first Playtest of LLD.
This week we look at more of the moves, Go on a mission, and confront a powerful enemy. This session is closer in format to what we envision a typical game of LLD to look like.
Also; it has Banshees.
Content Warning: this episode includes a gruesome death, mass graves, and the grief caused by both. (more…)
Alex and Ryan join Ray, for a mini-playtest campaign of Live.Love.Die. a new mecha romance RPG that Ray is writing. In this session we take a look at character creation, setting generation, and get into some combat.
We hope you all enjoy this 3 part series of Live.Love.Die.
LANCER is an upcoming Mecha RPG about rugged pilots and their Mechanized Cavalry Mech Suits. We had the chance to play a session with one of our Patrons.
On the planet Em-ewe, the region of Sydan has been seized by foreign insurrectionists. Caught in the crossfire is Alvilda Bondam, daughter of a planetary politician. Our pilots have to exfiltrate her to the Dyna city Spaceport before she’s killed or captured for ransom. They also have transport her across a hostile city before the enemy forces overrun said spaceport.
This month’s stimulus comes from artist John Delucca, you can find more from John on Tumblr and Twitter.
The challenge is this; write a short story (or other piece of fiction) inspired by the above image, it need only be a few paragraphs long. You have until the 28th of May to complete this months challenge. Feel free to check out our Fiction category to see our past attempts.
You don’t have to send your creations back to us or anything (but if you’d like to here is our email: email@example.com).
We just want to help motivate you to write, and write in different and varied genres.
We’ll post our own attempts at the end of the month.
