This weeks game is Pendragon. Pendragon is kind of unique in role playing games in that it has an ultra-specialised setting and focus. In this game you play as a member of King Arthur’s court, either a lady or a knight. You can customise your character background and heritage in many ways, but you are still either a knight, or a lady. Knights, by the way, can be female or male or anything in between. Our Players all chose to be male knights, and elected to begin play in the relativity peaceful Tournament Period of Arthur’s reign.
Our first game takes place just a few days after the PC’s have been officially knighted. They are attending a Hunt held in the Queen’s honour. I really enjoyed running this game, and the players seemed to dig it as well. We look forward to running it again next month.
This week, in lieu of an Arcanum Quest episode, we have this months Crusading Couch episode. In this podcast we discuss the importance of planning and organising your story. We also have a guest on, our friend Caitlyn. She’s been involved with role playing for a while and we thought she’d offer some interesting insight.
We hope you enjoy this episode of The Crusading Couch. If you did, please share it with your friends.
